Lara Turkish Bath

Lara Turkish Bath offers a convenient two-way transfer service from hotels in Lara and Kundu at 10:00, 13:00, and 16:00. You may also choose to visit the bath on your own between 10:00 and 18:00.

While the bath is open every day, Sundays tend to be crowded, so it is not recommended for those seeking a quiet and relaxed experience.

Upon entering the hammam, you will be allocated a private room and given lockers where you can safely store your belongings. Your needs such as loincloths, slippers, towels and soap are provided. If you wish, you can buy natural soaps with olive oil or coconut oil or you can bring your own soap.

The use of loincloth is mandatory. Clothes such as shorts, bikinis, boxers can be worn underneath or can be used in a natural way according to your preference.

When you enter the steam room, a warm and humid atmosphere welcomes you. The room temperature is about 70 degrees and it feels warmer thanks to the steam.

With a capacity for 5 people, you can spend as much time as you wish between 5-15 minutes in the steam room. This process softens your skin and makes it ready for scrubbing and massage.

After the steam room, move on to the sauna. This room can accommodate 7 people and the temperature can be adjusted between 80-100 degrees.

You can stay for 5 to 15 minutes and you will feel your body cleansed of toxins and your muscles relaxed.

After lying down on the navel stone, a professional tellak will apply a scrub. This process cleanses your whole body (including the face) from dead skin and allows your skin to regenerate.

The scrub takes approximately 8-12 minutes. If scrubbing for children, the procedure is performed in a softer and gentler way.

After the scrub, an intense foam massage is performed. This application with soap bubbles creates a feeling of cleanliness and freshness on your skin.

The foam massage lasts approximately 10-12 minutes and is applied to the whole body. The soft touches of the foam provide deep relaxation, both mentally and physically.

After the foam massage, you move to the relaxation area. In this area, hot herbal tea is offered free of charge and other beverages are available upon request.

While you relax, your body dries and gets ready for the oil massage. Lying on the cushions, you will enjoy relaxation in a peaceful environment.

Oil massage is performed by professional therapists in single rooms. This application, made with aromatic oils of class A quality, covers the whole body including head, feet and back.

The duration of the massage varies between 15-30 minutes depending on your preference. The natural oils used during the oil massage nourish your skin, relieve muscle aches and relieve all your fatigue.

At the end of your hammam experience, a transfer vehicle will be ready to take you back to your hotel. This whole process takes approximately 1-1,5 hours.
